How We Do It

In April of every year, we announce the opening of scholarship applications for the upcoming school year. We also research poor communities who would otherwise not be aware of this opportunity and directly inform their community leaders, school headmasters, and principals to invite students that require scholarships to attend elementary, secondary, or post-secondary school to submit their applications. Applications are accepted from April to May.

In June, we select the students that will receive scholarships from the pool of applications, based on a demonstrated financial need and academic merit.

In July, we announce the successful applicants.

In August, we verify that the successful applicants are still planning to attend school in the upcoming school year. To all that have been verified, we provide the scholarships.

Note that scholarships do not carry over from year to year. Students that are currently on scholarships need to reapply each year.

That is all. The process is very simple.
